Spontaneous compositions by Cathy Stevens (violectra), Geoff Hearn (saxophones), Karen Wimhurst (clarinets), Udo Dzierzanowski (guitar), Adrian Newton (laptop) and Tony Gill (drums).

These recordings of live improvisations were made during the Ashley Wood Festival, July 2013. The music was performed as a live soundtrack to the classic silent movie from 1925, 'The Phantom of the Opera', featuring Lon Chaney. The recordings have been reproduced here with no edits, so it should be possible to play them as an accompaniment to the film by segueing the tracks together, as they were originally performed.
